My name is Polina Shaykina.

I’m a graduate of the American University of Paris in the field of Journalism and Politics. While studying I did a lot of freelance in the field of Media and Communications. I was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. At the age of three, I moved to Los-Angeles, CA with my family, where I studied at a French-international school (Lycée International de Los-Angeles). I moved back to Saint-Petersburg at the age of 10, where I continued my studies in an International School for 5 years.

Apart from school I was also enrolled in the Saint-Petersburg Youth Theatre Academy and was on the junior national team of Saint-Petersburg in synchronized swimming.

At the age of 15, I’ve made a decision to continue my studies in Bournemouth, England for my last four years of school. By the time of my graduation from high school, I’ve already made my decision to move to Paris to pursue university studies.

I've spent my life in a multicultural environment and always found that I identify as a Global Citizen. In my blog, I would like to share this part of me, by creating culturally diverse content on various topics.
